Typesetter Publishing was established in 2015, dedicated to publishing works on Hong Kong studies, gender theory, leftist theory, and Republican studies. Through original and translated works, we aim to introduce the latest discourses and research into Hong Kong’s cultural landscape.
We believe that publishing academic works means constantly finding the juncture of time, history, and knowledge. Without knowledge, one appears detached from reality; without history, it is challenging to inherit and continue; without knowledge, history is merely a narrative, unable to coalesce into profound reflection.
